This series shows how life is brought forth by death, and how every element is capable of creating elements that can bring forth life or death.

ABOUT THIS PAINTING
She reached down and sunk her delicate, long fingers into the wet, black soil. She closed her eyes and opened her mind. She felt the essence of the life and death process as she experienced visions of her fallen ancestors before her, and the life their bodies once buried on her tribal land, had given. From their death sprung forth great trees to protect her people, and animals to feed her people. Life from death, death for life.
